Los Simpson: el tema de Michael Jackson y Bryan Loren "Do the Bartman" alcanza los 38.500 $

"Do the Bartman" es el tema hip hop que se lanzó al mercado el 20 de noviembre de 1990 escirta por Michael Jackson y Bryan Loren y realizada por Nancy Cartwright.

Jackson era un declarado fan de la serie y en concreto de Bart Simpson y le ofreció a los productores un single que pudiera lanzarse dentro de la popular serie de animación, aunque en ese momento no pudiera aparecer en los créditos debido a que tenía un contrato en exclusiva con Sony Music.

Ahora el tema musical ha salido a subasta y un postor anónimo se ha hecho con sus derechos por 38.500 dólares (unos 35.000 euros), la misma cifra que alcanzó, por ejemplo, un grabado de Picasso en 2013.

Loren por su parte ha mantenido siempre que Michael Jackson sólo participó en la canción al hacer los coros.“La historia de la canción y su creación ha sido una espina que he traído siempre. Pero, a pesar de las confesiones de Matt Groening, yo soy el único escritor de la canción. Michael Jackson trabajó conmigo en los coros y fue idea suya el nombre de la canción”. Este tema se popularizó tanto que estuvo en el número 1 en top 40 de charts en Reino Unido.
